Paul's First Mission

Paul, who was later named Saul, departed from Antioch on his first mission and taught in Perga, Cyprus, Paphos, and Debre.

HELPFUL POINTS FOR DISCOURAGED MISSIONARIES:

• Laying on of hands. The priesthood power will always help bless those who are in need or discouraged.
• The gift of the Holy Ghost can always guide you even when you are discouraged. Find the spirit and let it guide.
• Fast and pray 

As Saul and Barnabas, Saul's companion, taught together. The Lord sent missionaries out by two to support each other by testifying for one another. They were known as healed gods because they healed people. They rent (ripped) their clothes off of them and said “why are you going to offer sacrifices to us?” Telling people that they were sent from Christ.Paul departed from Antioch on his first mission.
